And a golden day!!!
Well, Saree being the most beautiful and versatile attire of Indian women, is losing its core identity day by day as we are not willing to carry a saree in our day to day life, and it has became an occasional attire. But as a matter of fact saree has also evolved and became such a classic outfit now a days globally in terms of draping, styling, jewellery etc etc. Many of our Indian designers took the saree to all new level by putting their love and creativity to the outfit and kept its charm alive (Sabyasachi Mukherjee being one of my favourites). No matter what but saree is incredibly sober and sexy at the same time.
So today I’m sporting my favourite outfit “Saree” paired with a crop top. Ironically we Indians have been wearing these crop tops with sarees from centuries and we call it “blouse” 😀 so no worries if it’s being accepted globally with so much of enthusiasm with a new name “crop top”.
Anyways, so I found this solid yellow saree perfect for summer/spring and paired it with a multi-coloured tribal print crop top. I personally like to drape my saree little messy. I paired colourful bangles to go with overall look with no more extra accessories. I’m little obsessed with high pony these days and chose to make that for this outfit too.
Hope you like it 🙂
And yes, don’t forget to buy gold on this auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
Cheers 😉
