Our travel experience of 2015 and plans for 2016 at a glance!
Travelling is our passion and feels that we are born to travel. We try to maximise every little opportunity that we get from our busy schedule to explore this beautiful world and cherish the moment till eternity. 2015 has been a good year and we would like to continue our venture in 2016. 2016 marks a debut of new beginning but for travellers like us every opportunity to travel is a new beginning. We would also like to thank our readers and friends for supporting us and believe us this is the biggest source of inspiration for us.
2015 at a glance
2015 was fruitful where we ventured into Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, & West Bengal. We started the year with a dramatic, adventurous, and exciting road trip towards Rann of Kutch and enjoyed the electrifying Rann Utsav as well as vastness of white desert. The next venture was to Ganpatipule and Malgund one of our pending list from the Konkan coast. By this we marked the completion of Konkan coast of Maharashtra. The tranquillity of the Ganpatipule temple percolates in the whole village and there is an aura of peace at place. From Ganpatipule we took a detour and visited Marleshwar Temple as well where snakes can be seen in the temple. This year marked our venture towards north and we visited Jim Corbett for a re-vitalising experience. We followed this up by a visit to one of the oldest palace hotel situated at Aravali Hills in Rajasthan – Neemrana Fort Palace Hotel. We also experienced Zip Line adventure at Neemrana. In 2015, we also debuted on our wishlist of capturing major festivals of India and covered the Durga Puja of Kolkata. We also ventured into historical monuments of India through Sultan Ghari’s Tomb. Finally, we ended the year with camping near Mumbai followed by one of the most adventurous trip to Auli.
2016 – Master Plan
We are planning for a more adventurous 2016 with quite a few road trips on our list. The planned road trips till now are Mumbai – Goa, Mumbai – Delhi, and Mumbai – Leh. The major destinations that we have planned till now are Goa and Leh Ladakh. We will cover Ganpati festival of Maharashtra and Rath Yatra of Odisha. We will also cover few monsoon destinations near Mumbai. We have also planned a debut of our yoga section in 2016. We will also cover Ellora caves in Maharashtra and will look forward to explore some unique experiences as well. This is just the beginning of 2016 and we are hopeful that by the time we will finish this year our bucket will be full of enormous experiences.
